League Cup - Finals

Montoya

I beat Hubert handily by 33 points for my first Montoya Cup! The win gives me 3 trophies this season and all 4 trophies for my career, making me the first manager to pull off either feat.

Dufresne

Drew pulls off the unthinkable, coming in as a 7-seed to win the Dufresne Cup by 4 points over Amer! He is the lowest seed to win a League Cup, and he did it by winning the 3 rounds by a combined 9.56 points! In the process, he nabbed the final Markinson bid that had been slated for Russell.

Steve has to be kicking himself. He lost to Drew by 0.10 last week after failing to replace an inactive WR, and then he posted the top score this week.

Markinson

Looking at Markinson next season, we have 8 of the 9 managers with the most career wins, with only #5 Scott on the outside looking in. Those with fewer than 55 career wins need not apply. It's the strongest Champions League group yet.

Hubert makes his 5th appearance, the only manager to qualify every single season. Jason, Dean, and I are making our 4th appearances. Drew, Jeremy, and Amer are making their 3rd appearances, and defending champion Andrew is making his second appearance.

Besides Hubert, who has the longest active streak of Markinson qualifications? That would be Drew, who is making his third straight appearance thanks to his remarkable playoff run this season.

Thanks everyone for another great season, and 2011 will be the best one yet... as long as the NFL isn't on strike!
